The Camden Society Bike Club went for two sessions over Easter to Lee Valley’s Stonebridge Lock, to try out some adapted bikes for all abilities riders.
It was a beautiful bright morning and the group arrived very keen to try out the bikes and go for a ride along the valley, but some instruction was needed at first.
The sessions were run by Tony Harvey the Cycling Officer for Lee Valley and a very good selection of adapted bikes were available for use.

These are top quality adapted bikes. We are looking to build up the centre and get more people to sign up to use the bikes which at present are available for hire for free. The Camden Society Bike Club are the ideal type of user group that we wish to attract.
After a really good work out the group went off for a picnic by the river, bathed in beautiful Easter sunshine.

It is great that we have been able to use this facility for the first time and we will definitely be coming back for more sessions, it has been a wonderful experience for our young people.
