“I’m really excited to be working on the new Bike Club project as it combines my passions for making things happen in local communities and cycling. In my last job I was working for Sustrans as a Bike It Officer encouraging primary school aged children to cycle to school and engage with cycling as a fun way of getting about. I have done lots of work with both secondary and primary schools over the last few years including volunteering for Young Enterprise.
“I am married with two teenage sons and live in Kendal, just outside the Lake District, which is great for my interest in outdoor pursuits. I am going to be working with the cycling towns of Lancaster, Morecambe and Blackpool and am really looking forward to setting up some innovative clubs with the young people in these areas.”
